I doubt I'll ever finish this

Remember when I used to knit all the time? I mean, look at this. It's pretty. What happened to me? Ok, I promise to try and pull myself back together. Yesterday I downloaded a pattern for a Manaki Neko (you know, the "sushi cats") and I think it will get me back in the groove. So far, I printed it out. Baby steps. 

My favorite form of "y'all" is the possessive. So, how was y'all's weekend? Mine was pretty great. Apparently Saturday was record store day, so we went to a few record stores. We saw an important cajun fiddler guy but of course I don't remember his name or anything. I liked it though. 

Yesterday we had dinner at Trudy's on Burnet. If you live in Austin, have you been there? It opened in 1988 and it shows. Ridiculous. 

This morning I watched Doubt. It was good, and even though I'm not a Meryl Streep fan you have to admit the lady can act. I had already seen the very end of the movie, and I still contend that it is hilarious. 

Today is day one of a 12 in a row work marathon, but after that is super fantastic vacation extravaganza weekend!!! Three days of non-stop crazy fun. It all kicks off with my holy day: Texas Miniature Showcase! (clapping and jumping). Plus a Friday night bonus-DCFC! Unprecedented levels of dork bliss...
